I source our Alabaster from the Pisa area. Cut and shaped by Roberto and his multigenerational team. The process begins with large blocks quarried from Castellina, which is known for its gray veined and translucent Alabaster. Once arrived at my factory the material is then rough cut to a manageable size. As with our other factories, I am asking Roberto’s artisans to execute contemporary designs from very traditional materials. Once again I encourage the signature of flaws and blemishes that are an inherent part of hand working the alabaster.
